Ccpatch.wortel.4all4.deb data is now working. I have been a happy customer of Consumer Cellular for some time and was so happy to get the iphone working with them. In order to get areound this I neede to install a ComCenterPatch that would bypass the security settings and allow me to create a custom plist.
Pwnage tool can jailbreak and upgrade iOS without touching the baseband. Thanks again for your continued help. Apple tries to lock things down by requiring code signatures, SHSH verification blobs from their servers, etc.
You may not even need to jailbreak.
